TO MY ONLINE FRIEND

This is a poem I wrote 

To someone I owe 

Written to clear my depth

In a bid to clear my head 

To a friend I've never seen 

Your presence I've felt so deep 

The light you shone my way

Even from a distance far away

My demons fled and you gave me peace 

You calmed the storming seas inside of me 

You gave me what I've longed for so long 

As if to say you knew it all 

You gave me listening ears even in my dreams 

And cleaned me wounds even the ones so deep

A therapist she said she is

But an angel she is to me 

Even with her broken soul 

I could feel a heart so low 

I wish I could show you all the love you deserve

To show what you deserve, I don't even know how to start 



You've been more than a friend to me 

A thousand thanks you deserve from me 

 from where to start I do not know 

But this I'll say from the words I know 

"A beautiful soul you own"

Maybe we can't be friends forever 

But for the time I've known you I'll be thankful forever

M y life's full of bad days, from a young age  Been looking for the real me, its almost 280 days  Now I sit around thinking about the old fun days  Then when "I love you" were the last words I say when the smiles were real, but now it's all fake  I miss the days when I'd easily forget things  Enjoying the time and not over thinking my life  Not wondering if am a person someone could like  Not going with negative thoughts on my mind  When I believed I worth a number of things  When I never had to wonder about who I should be  The days when happiness was in my reach  Look what has happened to me  Numb eversince my heart broke into pieces  Stand in front of the mirror like who is this?
